D.Marie was born April 28, 1972, in Columbus, Ohio at the Ohio State University hospital. She attended College in Ohio were she started her writing career.  She also served in the US Army reserve.

Early in her life she had to endure unjust treatment, by family and Children Services. She has become a voice for all mistreated youths. Now with her strength and her personal relationship with God she wants to share her story.

D.Marie wants others to be aware of the unfair treatment that children endure and that goes unseen. Her dream is to become part of a major movement to stop child abuse and create more laws for the world to protect children from becoming victims of sexual assault and other violent acts.
D.Marie enjoys painting, music, traveling. She previously volunteers at Children's Hospital as a trauma counselor, as a Youth Soccer Coach at the YMCA, and a Community Youth Baseball Coach. She currently severs as a counselor for (MASA) Movement against sexual abuse. As an author and an inspired artist she hopes to one day open a youth development center. She feels she can redirect those teens towards becoming positive, productive adults.
